Wrong Timing for Construction

Tradewinds,

Construction of the controversial parking garage in Cruz Bay is planned to start by the end of summer. Knowing the unreliability of such planning, we can expect it will start later, just in the beginning of the tourist season.

Parking problems and traffic problems will certainly not contribute to the satisfaction of the tourists. These large constructions as well as larger road repairs which are going on in the National Park road should be done mainly in the summer, in low tourist season.

The administration is making the same timing mistake repeatedly. Why is the tourist department silent, they should remind the administration that tourists make the traffic much denser and they come mostly in winter? All these projects disturbing traffic should be timed properly.
