St. John Chapter Welcomes New Members

Editor:

The St. John Chapter of the St. Thomas/St. John Chamber of Commerce is building strength! If you haven’t joined yet, please do so now, and support building a greater voice for St. John business owners.

Thus far, St. John’s first priorities to build upon include security (liaison with police and safety issues island-wide and specifically Cruz Bay), a better St. John/USVI tourism cooperative, and emergency medical services for St. John. As the committees progress, the goals and objectives to achieve will be more clearly defined.

Work is being done by the Chamber every day. Just two weeks ago, the Chamber was a major vocal opponent to the proposed Waste Management proposal with regards to the potential damage the fees would have had on the business community.

If these are important issues to your business, please join the Chamber, and create a strong voice for St. John business owners and special business interest groups on St. John.

How to get involved, stay informed and become part of the new solution:

Go to www.vichamber.com and add your information to our new “announcements’ email generator (even if you are a current member of the Chamber); join the Chamber and become a voice for your business in the Virgin Islands; spread the word of the St. John Chapter initiative by telling other business owners about the Chamber.

Our next meeting is Tuesday, December 18, at 5:30 p.m. in Cruz Bay at St. Ursula’s multipurpose center.
For questions please call me at 693-9099 or email stjohnchapter@gmail.com.
