Bryson Mays, 15, of St. Croix handily won the seventh annual Beach to Beach Power Swim on Sunday morning, May 30. Bryson ran ashore at Hawksnest Beach after swimming the 3.5 mile course from Maho Bay unassisted in one hour, fourteen minutes and five seconds. Almost 200 swimmers competed in the Friends of V.I. National Park fundraiser in calm seas and a light easterly wind.
