The Animal Car Center on-line auction of the landmark hand-painted Sloop Jones sign from the Coral Bay “triangle” went for a $500 donation on July 16 from Jeannie Cockayne in memory of her son Jamie Cockayne. The iconic sign was replaced at the triangle before someone drove into one of the sturdy signposts recently.
