St. John, VI – Paving of John Head Road between the North Shore Road and the northern most Catherineberg home and driveway requires the temporary closure of the road to through traffic for approximately four weeks beginning September 9th. All residents along the road will continue to be able to access their properties via the Centerline Road during the closure. The road will reopen on or about October 10th absent delays due to weather or car barge availability. Some brief traffic congestion may occur on the North Shore Road near the project, but this road will remain open. Paving this portion of the John Head Road will improve driving conditions and greatly reduce water erosion cause by storms.
