Brutally beaten 14-year-old Nathan Geiger remains in the intensive care unit in a Puerto Rico hospital. The St. John eighth grader is in and out of consciousness but is off of life support and is breathing on his own, according to a family friend.
Doctors are optimistic NathanÂ’s condition will improve, according to the friend. Nathan is surrounded by loving family and friends, according to the friend added.
The teenager, a lifelong St. John resident, sustained severe head wounds in a vicious attack at his Grunwald home which left his father, David, dead on October 29.
