Magnitude 3.6 Quake Felt Across Love City

Residents across St. John got a little shake-up on Tuesday afternoon, September 27, when an earthquake measuring a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale occurred off the coast of Anegada.

The quake occurred around 3:27 p.m. at a depth of about 20.5 miles, only eight miles northwest of Settlement, Anegada, according to www.earthquake.usgs.gov.

No damage was reported in the British or U.S. Virgin Islands, but residents from Coral Bay to Cruz Bay reported feeling the quake.
