A group of 25 students from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago took time out to give back to St. John during a recent vacation to Love City.

The students stopped by the St. John Animal Care Center’s Cruz Bay shelter and office on the last day of their vacation Wednesday morning, August 28, to donate their time.

From walking dogs and painting dog houses to cleaning the dog runs and cat cages and even giving the animals a little love, the students helped to make sure the island’s sole animal welfare organization and dogs and cats it cares for, had a little extra support.

“All 25 of them were energetic and outgoing,” said Ryan Moore, ACC shelter manager. “The ACC would like to thank them for an awesome morning at the shelter.”
