Epiphany Show Was a Wonderful Christmas Memory

Editor:

As the director of “Crackin’ Deh Nut,” I want to thank the cast and crew who made this Christmas show so memorable and so thoroughly rewarding. To all the volunteers who took time out of their busy lives to help make this original production such a huge success, I cannot thank you enough!

To the dance instructors, Mindy, Trish, Kim and Marcella, who so beautifully transformed the script into fabulous dance routines with wonderful music; to Cynthia and Lydia for co-writing the script and for all the constant hard work with props, costumes and back stage savvy; to the St. John School of the Arts for allowing us to use their facilities and making the time for our daily rehearsals, and especially to Kazumi for all her involvement. To all the parents who helped backstage and made sure their children were at rehearsals and shows, thank you! To John, Drew, Tim, Jeff and Mike for tech and set work, a great big thanks! A sincere thank you to all the front of the house crew and a special thank you our great set designers and set makers, Jane, Mary, Lisa, Vicki and Patricia. A very special thank you to all the fabulously talented performers who made the show come to life — you’re all wonderful! The 22 children and 15 adults worked tirelessly to make this show a reality and brought a story of hope, love, spirit and warmth of the heart to our wonderful St. John audience who filled every seat over the six night run. I can only wish that the theme of the show leaves a lasting feeling of Christmas throughout the year. Thank you all for the honor of being involved in such a wonderful show.
