A jar of possibly contaminated Peter Pan peanut butter was discovered on St. John on Friday, February 16.
Residents are urged to check their jars, as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a warning for people to not eat jars of Peter Pan or Great Value peanut butter if the code on the lid starts with “2111.”
That code was found on at least one jar of peanut butter that was purchased at a local grocery store.
