V.I. Audubon Society members dedicated a hand-made bench at Hawksnest Beach last month in honor of former long-time member John Achzet, who passed away at the age of 83 on September 19, 2010.
Mary and Tim Moroney, CJ and Ed Wilson and Peggy and Dave Spoth created the bench to meet V.I. National Park specifications. VINP also chose the location of the bench, near pavilion one looking out on the sea grape trees nearby.
